Established in 2004, Bear Necessities hosts many talented crafters/artisans (consignors) who hand make their own products. 

In 1995, Desiree started to design crocheted outfits on 2" flocked bears, since then she has extended her designs to 2", 3" and 3.5" stuffed bears with over 300 different outfits. Desiree's experience with Cottage Crafters Craft/Antique Malls (1991) as a crafter and an employee has given her the desire to open her own shop.
